PorchFest STL

PorchFest is exactly what it sounds like: a music festival taking place on residential porches. Originally conceptualized in 2007 in Ithaca, New York, the grassroots event eventually spread nationwide.

The St. Louis version began with Washington University students who wanted to adapt it this city. Taking place yearly in the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood, various homes become venues and residents become the audience. With a blanket or chair and beverage of choice, this free, day long event is a great way to explore the area and hear music by over thirty local musicians.
