St. Louis Sound at the Missouri History Museum

This new exhibition at the Missouri History Museum explores the diverse music that has helped to define the city of St. Louis spanning from the earliest recorded sounds all the way up to the modern day. Visitors will learn about famous pillars of St. Louis music like Scott Joplin, Chuck Berry, Miles Davis, Josephine Baker, and Nelly, as well as many lesser known but still massively important individuals.
One of the most exciting things about this exhibit is that it comes with a playlist of 100 songs that can be accessed through a QR code when visitors enter. This allows people to not just see artifacts, but to actually hear the music this exhibit is all about.
St. Louis Sound continues at the Missouri History Museum through January 22, 2023. To learn more please visit www.mohistory.org/exhibits/st-louis-sound.
