We talk one-on-one with author Elliot Ackerman about his latest novel, Waiting for Eden. Ackerman is a highly decorated veteran and journalist. His latest work focuses on a gravely injured soldier who returns from the war unable to communicate with those around him. It’s a unique story told from the perspective of an unexpected third character. Ackerman says his novel is one most people can relate to touching on themes of loyalty, love, fidelity and grief.
