The Foundry Art Centre is currently hosting two new exhibitions exploring Jewish culture in the region. “Sleep Faster, We Need the Pillows” is a bold solo show by Benjamin Kaplan, taking objects and iconography from Judaism and presenting them in a modern artistic way. And “Being Jewish in St. Charles” is a collaborative project between the Foundry and Humans of St. Louis which showcases portraits and stories of Jewish people living and working in St. Charles. The stunning images in this exhibit are by Photographers Lindy Drew, Bill Motchan, David Hazan, and Colleen O’Connell Smyth.
