The St. Louis Artists’ Guild’s Annual Young Artists’ Showcase returns with works by over 140 students from 26 different St. Louis area high schools.
Also on show is an exhibit by Washington Elementary students paying tribute to influential contemporary African American artists.
These exhibits give young artists an opportunity to see their work hanging in a professional gallery space, often for the first time in their lives, while offering the people of St. Louis a chance to engage with high caliber artwork by members of the community that don’t normally get shown in such a space.
